With multiple weight loss drugs on the horizon, and a shortage-inducing ramp-up of Ozempic sales, we can expect to see more and more articles on the dangers of obesity and the promise of taking a pill.
This review in USNews of Ozempic doesn't focus on the dangers of obesity but rather talks about Ozempic and its higher-dosed, differently branded sibling Wegovy. It's one of the better summaries I've seen. As someone who has lost weight through lifestyle changes, and is now in the difficult maintenance phase, I am curious to see how Ozempic and Wegovy hold up in the long run.
