Vaccine, Uormune, Found to Reduce or Eliminate UTIs

Recurrent Urinary Tract Infections afflict millions of people a year. Some end up taking antibiotics chronically, despite the known risks of selecting out for drug resistant bacteria and the negative effect on the microbiome. A new study, presented recently at the European Association of Urology Congress (EAU) https://buff.ly/2YZIa4M found that a vaccine, called Uormune, dramatically reduced or eliminated UTIs. I’ll be watching this with interest in the hopes that it gets approved in the US. It would be wonderful for those suffering to get relief from recurrent UTIs.
